AEW Dynamite Review 5/10/23

The night would begin with Rey Fenix against Claudio Castignoli in an extremely entertaining match, with both men doing their best to gain the upper hand on the other, Rey Fenix did his incredible rope walk hurricanrana but that wouldn’t be enough as Claudio would pick up the win, this match gets 7/10. The next match would be Orange Cassidy vs Daniel Garcia for the International Championship, over the course of the match Garcia would use his technical skills to slow down Orange, that would include stomping his injured hand. Later in the match Orange would hit the beach break but Garcia would kick out, Orange would pick up the win with a roll up, this also gets 7/10. The next match would be Anna Jay vs Julia Hart in a no holds barred match, this match would start fast as Anna would attack Julia from behind and would start hitting her with a kendo stick, however Julia would turn it around on Anna and get the advantage, Julia appeared to be banged up after the commercial break as she was walking slow and grabbing her ribs, Anna would then put chairs in the ring and throw them in a pile, she and Julia would then go up top where Julia would counter Anna and hit a suplex from the top for the win, this match gets 6.5/10.House of Black would then take on Best Friends and Bandido in a house rules match where there was no disqualification and there was a 20 count instead of 10, to be honest House of Black pretty much dominated this match, besides a few moves from Bandido, House of Black would pick up the win 5/10. The main event was the steel cage match was Jon Moxley vs Kenny Omega, Moxley would meet Omega on the ramp while he was making his entrance, The Young Bucks and BCC would brawl on the outside, with Bryan Danielson on commentary, once the brawling stopped Omega and Moxley would enter the ring and tear each other apart, Omega would hit Moxley with a barbed wire steel chair and while during commercial Moxley would take off the top turnbuckle and stick it in Omega’s mouth, towards the end of the match Omega hit the v trigger and knocked Moxley out of the cage, but Moxley was up first and once back in the ring, would try and hit him with the screwdriver, but would be stopped by Don Callis, Omega would hit the v trigger and one winged angel but was then betrayed by Callis who would use the screwdriver and help Moxley pick up the win, this match gets 10/10!
